Central Oregon’s growth has slowed but people are still moving here for the natural beauty, quality of life and small town feel. If you are thinking of buying real estate there has never been a better time. It is a Buyers market. Inventory is still good, interest rates are around 6% or less and funds are available for financing. The number of residential homes that sold in Bend in 2007 totaled 1520. The end of January the inventory of residential homes was at 1270. The median price ended the year at $345,000 with the number of homes priced below $400,000 at 675, more than half of the inventory. Prices have declined and now seem to have leveled off. Don’t miss your opportunity. Contact me today for more information on today’s housing opportunities.
